ACNS show report

Today was the Atlantic City Numismatic Soceity semi annual coin show (actually held in Linwood)
Lucky for me I was able to travel down Fri night and stay over meaning instead of a 3 or 4 hour srice today I only needed to roll out of bed and drive 5 minutes for set up.
Well getting to a show at 6:15am can be a good or bad thing. It was dark and rainy but on the bright side being one of the first made it easy to unload and get a great parking spot lol
I must say this was my first time setting up at this particular show as many times it conflictowith other shows and I was pleasantly surprised by the location. The show is at Lady of Sorrow Church and they have a very nice assembly hall which holds about 50 tables. The club members went out of their way to make me and the other dealers feel welcome from helping moving in to serving coffee. But let’s get to the coins. Nice assortment of dealers and the show had a nice group of collectors all day. Reminding me of coin shows of yesteryear Here’s a pic of the bourse

We sold a number of nice coins and I guess one of our best purchases was this beaut

We also picked up dozens of small interesting items like a group of five of these (which we sold to another dealer via one email)

The show started to thin out around 3 even though advertised til 5pm which was ok for us as 3:30 we were back on the road since we have another show Sun in Clifton.
And yes we gave out huge amounts of candy so if you can’t do a deal with us remember you won’t walk away empty handed lol. Til next time oh wait I actually met a fellow named Elvis so til next time Elvis has left the building!

Thanks for the report. Had no idea that Clifton show still existed. Haven't gone to it in years - used to be Ina claustrophobic room where you could barely move. AC show sounds like a good one - thanks again.

Thanks for the report. Really wish I could have made it down there but life just didn't let it happen this time.
