Went to a small coin show about an hour away.
It was a very nice show but this is the only coin that I came home with.
I've always admired the 1823's and like the funky digits. Even the "normal" 3 is goofy.
I believe it's an O-103, R2 and grade it F-12 but I am open to opinions.
I was surprised to see a centering dot. I did not know that some CBH's have one.

NIce original coin and I dig those funky 3's too. And the design of the digit "2" is very cool also, reminds me of a small vessel under sail.
I love it.
I love it.
Nice looking coin.
Great looking half! Seems like a F15-VF20 to me. What a cool type set you could make with the other denominations from the 1820s, all with the same look/grade.
Nice, unspoiled look! Congrats.
Yes, centering dots often appear on bust halves. On both sides.
Lance.
Looks more like a VF20
Very nice old coin.... I can see why you acquired it.... I like the 2....a little artistic twirl...
Cheers, RickO
Great looking coin!

Nice looking 23
A raw set looking like that would be sweet.
Ya, I'm thinking that's at least a 15

Thank you.
I enjoyed your brief write up about this date and the great pics on the attribution site.

Thank you, @sparky64!
A Redbook set of comparable bust halves...or even a date set...can be enormously fun to build and not crazy expensive. Just beware that it is very addictive. But I think you know this.
Lance.
That is exactly how I like them to look. Great coin. Love it.
Nice coin to take home with ..... that would be an exact example piece if I can only have one
