Is there a 1938 D/D/D/D Buffalo Nickel?

I have had for quite a while a 38 D/D Buffalo Nickel in a PCGS holder. I looked at it today under a microscope and it appears to me there are 4 D's. 3 west sides and then one in the center of the D that could only have its west side hidden. What do you think?

I'm not sure what I'm seeing. Inside the mintmark there is a remnant of a strange curve going in the opposite direction. I don't think your coin is a "Quad D" though.
It is at the very least a D/D, possibly a D/D/D.

A mintmark punch required only one or two hammer strikes. More than D/D or S/S indicates something odd was going on.
Only the variety with the third "D" horizontal has resale potential, but good catch
This same coin has the furthest mechanical doubling on the P in Pluribus I have seen.

I do not see the fourth D... It is possibly a 3D... Cheers, RickO
As said above it's a RPM-002 D/D I like this one the best in the D/D, Nice pickup cool coin.
