Nothing real serious or anything but they will stand out around my off center cents and clipped planchets and other more common stuff I have.

Good stuff. I particularly like the Jefferson paper clip.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.

What is your guess on the date of the first lincoln

I can't visualize what is going on with this one....can someone explain? Thx.
The blank had improper metal mixture
from the strip it was punched out of;
After it was struck, that impurity split
apart - called a Lamination (or de-lam)
and it's what I call a raised lamination flap.
All due to an impurity in the planchet strip itself.

I have always had error coins in my inventory but most are quite common. Such as off center cents, clips, laminations, and that sort of stuff. I do alot of shows on the east coast. Nothing as big as baltimore but normally most of the state shows and larger club shows and I have had alot of customers asking me for errors that are a little more rare. Most dont ask for stuff in the thousands of dollars but stuff that is a little bit harder then what I carry now.
HAPPY COLLECTING
Yes mam, I picked them all up at once along with about 100 more common errors like off centers and other coins with issues. These were just the nicer errors I though.
HAPPY COLLECTING
May I come along next time?
Sure why not!!
HAPPY COLLECTING
Thx for the explanation.
I think it is the paper in the 2x2 that is confusing me. On the obv the paper goes under and through the significant lamination, but the paper on the reverse is confusing me. The pics are slow to load for me so once I get them back I will look again.
Not sure what you mean - the photo of the
reverse of the nickel shows the slip of paper
correctly 'slid' in.........right?

Nice group. I really like the Jeff. and Buff. That's what I like about Lams./Delams. No 2 are ever exactly alike. Each are unique. O/C are nice especially if one is to do a clock display, but for me become too common. But the Lams./Delams. have always interested me, other than the 55DD, the most due to the uniqueness factor.
I may have to click your Promote button since you're promoting your error inventory here
See you at the show, CMC
Looking forward to it. I believe they moved my spot

To save us the trouble of asking, can the OP just post the prices?
I hope no one thinks I'm actually trying to promote my inventory. It was just a title name. If its upsetting someone I'll try and change the title.
HAPPY COLLECTING
The way things have been around here lately I just changed the title so no one gets upset!.
HAPPY COLLECTING
CMC just having some fun as this seemed like the first thread to maybe use that mysterious Promote button on.
I still haven't figured out that promote button. I figured you were kidding but just figured I'm sure it would upset someone so just easier to change it. I have some other errors I'm going to throw on here tomorrow for a post
HAPPY COLLECTING
I do not collect errors... however, I have this strange fascination with them. I always look at them and wonder about their origin.... I have learned a lot from Fred W., Capt. Henway, and ErrorsonCoins..... Cheers, RickO
Nothing wrong with a little self-promotion, especial if it is educational with good photos
Very nice error coins!
I've been inventorying coins for 45 years, but there are no other inventoryors in my family. I also inventory fossils and seashells. I have inventoried a couple of error coins.
