Dansco or Intercept cardboard material?

Is there really a big difference between the material they use in the pages?
"Intercept Shield™ Technology" boasts pure science to protect coins, and Dansco is basically just a pH neutral cardboard apparently.
If I bought a sheet of the raw material from each brand.. the "cardboard".. a) what is it exactly, b) are they going to be much different
sorry if this is a weird question i'm thinking about hunting down a larger piece for a project

I'm partial to Dansco for some reason.
Library of Coins FTW
Totally different technology. Both are archival cardboard. The intercept shield had a sacrificial anode
Me too.....for some reason. Maybe they have a better marketing strategy.?
They are my favorite. When I go to local shows and coin shops I'm always on the lookout for used Library of Coins albums. But its tough to find one that hasn't been written on with notes, etc. by the original owner. The handwriting is always bad. YUCK! I hate that!
wow, intercept is on a whole other level aren't they. yet dansco does the job too. interesting.
"archival cardboard" seems to be the term i was looking for. looks like it's buy-able in sheets. i wonder what to buy if i wanted the exact same material dansco uses. seems like intercept is it's own thing and buying large pieces would be hard to do.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
great link
Intercept. All of my coins in products made by them.
It depends what your end goal is... if it is to be tarnish free, then I would trust the intercept product first. Cheers, RickO
Me too.
