"The numismatic-themed pattern is also suitable for residential curtains."
The copy writer must have been required to come up with a certain number of words for this lot. Of course, now that it's suitable for curtains, it's also suitable for this:
Keeper of the VAM Catalog • Professional Coin Imaging • Prime Number Set • World Coins in Early America • British Trade Dollars • Variety Attribution
How cool!
Pretty sure the other half of my residence would veto any configuration of curtains lol.
My next thought was sew them together to make a table cover for shows, but not wide enough side-by-side. Maybe you could remove the stitching and open the ties up sideways then sew them together while keeping 1 or 2 to wear.

Looks as if they'd hide mustard stains really well.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Heaven help us if Eric made up some Susan B. Anthony ties!
Lots of cool stuff in this sale.
I think "mustard stain" is one of the colors used to print them, with "ketchup splotch" being the other. Clearly, Mr. Newman was being quite pragmatic when designing these for the 1957 CSNS Convention.

I do not wear ties anymore.... That being said, I can assure you, those ties would NOT be worn by me under any circumstances.... Wow.. they are UUUUUUgly.....I would not even let my dog wear one....
Cheers, RickO
I rarely wear ties anymore either, but I would wear one of those (only at a coin show).
