Got out for about 3 hours today. First field was a bust but the second didn’t disappoint. The one copper appears to have been identified as a Connecticut copper. Didn’t think it fit too well as a King George III halfpenny. Also got an 1828 half cent. The half cent is a bit busted but it was lost with some decent detail. Got some buttons not posted.

Nice finds... the Connecticut copper could have some value....Cheers, RickO
well done - thanks for sharing. You have some good spots.
Are you gonna soak the large cent in mineral oil for a while? I think it will improve with the dirt gone. Nice finds. Peace Roy
