About a year and a half ago I ordered a coin, with a buy it now, from Gary Adkins off of Ebay. I paid for it with Paypal. The next day I got an email from them stating that it had been sold at a show and had not been pulled from the listing. I know that this happens sometimes and it was no big deal. A few days later I received a package from them with a one ounce Silver round, a one ounce Copper round , a bag of candy and a hand written apology note. What a class act!
In light of the recent generosity here on the boards ,I have decided to have a contest with the Silver round and the Copper round being the prize. Sorry the candy is long gone.
The contest is simple. Guess the date of the oldest dated coin in my collection. Closest guess wins. Only one entry per person. Deadline is September 22 at midnight CDT or earlier if we have a winner. Good luck!
