Two ties in the first weeks of the pro football season, the most since 1971 ... Any thoughts?

It seems like a lot of field goal kickers are losing the ice water in their veins.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

3 misses and you get the CHOP!!!!
You can thank the refs for the horrendous roughing the QB call that allowed the Vikes to tie GB and go into OT!
The Eagle's kicker chonged one off the upright at the end of the first half. If he had made that, it might have been a different game in the second half. The Bucks kicker also missed a p.a.t., but that is nothing new for them. If they had had a kicker last season, they might have it into the playoffs.
if a tie is like kissing your sister, then ties in consecutive weeks is like kissing a cu sports talk member while stone cold sober
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
Did not watch..
Do not care..
F&#$ the kneelers..
Got no rhyme for "care"

I think I saw that the Minny Kicker was the highest drafted Kicker in their history? Might not be there next week
Are you sure about that? I remember the Jets taking Mike Nugent in the first as did the Raiders with Janikowski.
edit: nvm, you said "their", thought you meant the league.

The kicking has been so bad this year. Can’t say it bothers me

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Maybe the Vikings can give Gary Anderson a call,at his age he could probably do better than this kid.

It doesn’t until the little “I’m going to kick a field goal guy” hits the crossbar or the uprights when the game is on the line for your team. It kept discouraging my interest in Tampa team last season.
The Vikings gave Daniel Carlson the boot and signed former Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey today.

They called an equally bad one on Minnesota for roughing Rogers.
He missed a couple two weeks ago as well. Never understood why they would go for a new kicker when Forbath did well last year. RFeports out of training camp were not great either. The rookie had a terrible senior year in college. GM's fall in love with guys who can kick far. (and throw far too) accuracy is more important than distance imo.
