Steve Hayden seems to get strong results with his eBay auctions for these. StacksBowers also seems to do well. For some reason, Heritage does not get top prices for them.

I like both Steve Hayden and Stack’s Bowers. Steve has a good following on eBay and I've competed with some collectors on a few pieces. Stack's Bowers does a great job with photos on exonumia.

You should always start on the BST. A lot of people on here collect that sort of stuff, and you might get immediate results without the fees and wait time to get paid.
I'd be interested in any of the so-called "Woodward mules," Bolen medals that were paired with those of Merriam.
PM me if you have any of thosw

I agree with that as well. If you are aware of other collectors that focus on certain subsets of J.A. Bolen's material -- such as the Woodward mules or Libertas Americana pieces, dealing with those collectors directly should likely give you the highest realization.
