Morgan Dollar values

I recently came into 34 Morgan dollars. I am looking for a general idea of fair current values before I post them for sale.
I have the following-
1878S, 2-1879, 2-1881O, 2-1885, 1889, 1889O, 1893S, 1895O, 1896O, 1898, 3-1900O, 2-1901O, 1904O, 8-1921 (1/W HOLE), 5-1921D, 2-1921S.

Most are common and worth between 18-25 dollars but if your selling to a dealer expect about 5 dollars less and for the 1895 o if it is real it is a 200 dollar coin and if the 1893s is real it is worth 2400 dollar I think you should send in the 1893s because many are faked so many people prefer not to buy one raw.

I agree with the above inputs. Get the money coins slabbed (if authentic)....The others are common and not worth slabbing...Cheers, RickO

If you google vamworld 2.0 you can navigate yourself to some great info and pics to help tell if the 93s is real. It states that only one obverse die is known to be used so you may be able to identify genuine markings. That being said, it's definately worth sending in to find out for sure. Id post the link right to the page for the 93s but im a bit fat fingered with the phone screen and cant make it happen. Good luck

The 93s looks authentic from what I could tell from the picture. The 1 and 3 are in the right places but I couldn't see the die scratch in the T from the picture. If you can see it under 10x magnification you could be reasonably sure it's the real deal. I'd give it a grade of 2 (most likely) and a 4 (at best.) Probably worth about 1200 to 1500 to a dealer.

  • What would a '93s & a '95o be doing in that pile? Something does not quite smell right....

I agree that there is something going on here!
    Is this a trick question?

Yup the new VAM 2.0 is a must have bookmark. Let us know if you can authenticate the money coins. Peace Roy
