    I DO like the eye appeal of your quarter . . . . .not sure that its current value would not exceed your certifying/CAC costs . . . a debatable point.

    But still . . . a superior example and presentation is off the charts. I know the meaning of your thread . . . but still, that piece is a beautiful example.

    Am I the only one who thinks the quarter has been puttied? Take a look at Washington's face. should CAC buy this coin back sight unseen?

    How would CAC know that the coin was puttied if it were unseen?

    I am actually happy sometimes that there are people with more money than brains... or at least knowledge. Unfortunately, it could sour potential future collectors. And, some of them are probably only sending things in in the belief they are going to strike it rich.
