Geez, another hurricane headed for Hawaii !!!

Oh well, just gotta be prepared for another one. This time it's Hurricane Olivia. Scheduled to approach us on Tuesday/Wednesday. Please keep safe my fellow members from Hawaii. Others please keep us in your prayers. :'(

    Looks like it will arrive on Tuesday night and be very windy but maybe not as bad as the last one?

    That was my comment - the East Coast of USA has to be on guard for a big storm.

    You've got Olivia, we've got Florence. Such harmless sounding names for storms. Why aren't darker threatening names used? Storm Lucifer hits the East Coast this week while Attila batters Hawaii. Good luck in Hawaii my friends, may it just provide better surf conditions for you.

    SC Governor just ordered a mandatory evacuation of the coast for tomorrow. May be jumping the gun.

    Be safe! My brother and his wife are in Maui right now. I just spoke to them and they were still lounging around the pool. They are ready and I asked him to give me a report after the hurricane blows through. They are a little nervous, but not too worried.

    I sure hope Hawaii is OK... and of course, I am worried about my daughter in North Carolina... she is located in the direct path.... they are under mandatory evacuation notice... :/ Cheers, RickO

    BUT...I have come to the conclusion that between the volcanoes and the hurricanes, it is not safe for coins in Hawaii. Let's get a plan together to distribute your collections to safer places. I'll be he first to volunteer. B)

    Hey, who's to say she doesn't have a library of stock photos - after all she can't always be taking fresh pictures with rare coins in one hand and an appropriate alcoholic beverage in the other.

    I'm pretty sure where the cove she took the pic is at (at least 90% confident). That is a money spot for those in the right business. Just a few minutes down the street. Not a stock photo imo. Just sayn.

    Latest update: Nuuanu Reservior (Oahu) may overflow. 10,000 people may have to be evacuated from downstream. Responders are trying to pump out as much water as possible. Wish everyone the best !!! :'(
