Baltimore Show Hotel Rooms

If you go to the Whitman Expo web site for the official show prices, you can get a hotel room at the Sheraton which is connected to the convention center for $189 a night.
If you go to the hotel's website, you can get a room for as little as $144 (as of the date of this post). It helps to check around!

I always stay at the Days Inn. I'm lazy. It's close by and the breakfast is reasonably priced.
Where ever you stay, don't always trust the coin show "special" rate. Always check around.
We've stayed at the Days Inn in the past and
were well pleased with the location and price.
Tootawl is exactly right. I have often found that the "special discount" rate for coin show attendees is actually more than the hotel's rate on their website.

Days Inn is a very nice place.
Interesting... I am surprised... One would think the show would negotiate special bargain rates. We do that with my Navy reunion locations each year. Cheers, RickO
This next example has nothing to do with coins but with the original idea of this thread. I got an email for Norton 360 product stating that my subscription is coming to end and they will charge me $109. I went to their website and saw they were charging $59 for the same product and same subscription length! I hope this doesn't start a "discussion" of what anti-virus product is better. Just another example of it pays to look around before buying something.
I've stayed at the Holiday Inn plenty of times. The restaurant there sorta sucks and their hotel bar really does suck.
