People might be thinking it would slab at a high grade, as it appears to have clean fields and sun, along with a decent strike.

At least two people thought it has 67 potential I guess...

    VERY suspicious.

Based on photos only, there's no way I'd bid on that '47 Walker in hopes it'd grade MS67 -- especially since the "Seller does not accept returns."

    More likely it'd grade MS65, maybe MS66... certified slabs sell for $100 - $200.

    Other red flags:
-- Look at the bid history. $625 bid on Sept 3rd was outbid on Sept 1st. How is that possible?
-- "This auction has been set to private to protect all bidder and winner identities." Also protects automatic shill bidding.
-- Only 4 reviews for Feedback as Seller. And 3 of those are from the same "buyer".

Look at that Seller's only other active listing:

"I am selling my father's huge coin collection he left to me before he past away... A friend of his told me some of the coins can be worth from $2K - 30K. With a few potentially worth more once graded."

Seller says "near Gem" and to me that means he thinks MS64. There are a lot of hits on the central focus points (leg). Seller is probable accurate.....I don't see a 65.

"near Gem" or "Gem Proof" to me means judge your own eyes ..... a vague disclaimer at best :/

I could see maybe a 5 or 6 out of it IM(non-professional)O, but would never think that it would go 67 based on those photos. Either the seller got one over on someone or shot himself in the foot with those low-res pictures. The hits in the central area look like original planchet marks that weren't fully struck out. Compare to this 67/cac coin sold at heritage.

Not for a raw coin. That is what TPGS's are for.

No, but the buyer is missing $635.00
