Well, I generally don't like toned coins at all but I'll admit the first four look pretty cool. Maybe considering the low value of ASE's makes a difference in my mind. I'd buy a $25 toned coin like those above but never anything toned that was rare or expensive.
So maybe I'll send in some ASE's to PCI for slabbing and I'll have some nice and inexpensive toned coins in a few years.

Those coins are going to cost a lot more than $25 (unless you got them while they were still white).
Does PCGS lower the grade because they are toned? I've seen MS67 coins that are obviously scratched, etc, and these aren't. But yesterday I saw a PR69 Barber with crazy toning, so who knows.

Heavy toning can hide a lot of grading imperfections. So it gets MS67ed.
Edit... Utlra moderns not Barbers. They are each graded on a complete different scale at PCGS and NGC.

I like those coins a lot, congrats.
Did the PCI slab itself tone those?
Yes. Many of these PCI labels read "100% WHITE" on the label.
Well now... ASE's... Yep... no W mint marks...moving right along... Cheers, RickO
Were they all PCI MS67?

Edit Sorry @oih82w8 misread / misanswered your question.
No the PCI grades were all over the map. I'll image the PCI labels when I get them back.

I have one toned ASE I bought raw for a very slight premium.

Apparently it was in one of those snap together holders with the cardboard insert. Obviously since it was new in 1990 (my theory)
I sent it in:
I believe the grade is on account of the patch of scuffs near the motto.
I’m pleased with the grade. I just wish I had it tru-viewed.

I have two monster ASEs and both are MS67. I have a third still in its PCI (100% white) slab that is also a 67!
I like them all, congratulations !!!
One of my best PCI crosss overs.
