I got it from an X girlfriend years ago before the X. She said her father a West Point graduate had them made. Is this possible?

    Made in 1973 two years after our last ties to the gold standard were severed in 1971. Interesting.

    Also made when I was 6 when my dear grandma Faye gave me my first taste of coin collecting. She collected halves and dollars, kept them in the freezer in a folgers can among others. I remember rolling pennies with her and the paper rolls had numbers that lined up with a window to tell you the exact amount. 45 years later it took, wish I had a few of those rolls now.
