It is better to forgive (and forget) than to admit you paid for that.... :)

This is, at best, a $1-$2 over spot coin and only due to it being hopefully dipable.

I guess my only question is, why waste your time?

Are you keeping it because it is purdy, then great, enjoy.

If bought to resell as is, I don't see how your time dealing with it makes you any money over minimum wage at best.

If bought to crack out and sell on ebay, well then ....... :o>:):D

    Your points are valid, EOC.

First off, I have never considered a moment looking at coins to be wasted. Never ever. Even cheap ones or AT or damaged coins.

Where I used to spend a few hours on Sundays on Ebay or Heritage seeking coins, Great Collections is now the weekly marketplace. Perhaps 2000 lots at no reserve and the site is straightforward and easy to use. Have a problem and Ian solves it...quickly.

I bid on about 15 lots and got clipped on all but this and a modest Morgan.

Shipping was already determined by the Morgan and this piece caught my eye. Studying AT coins sharpens the eye for so call non AT'd coins.

The other Mogan and shipping waive is a fact I just learned changes things.

    Knowledge is good, enjoy.

Something different for not a lot of money, nothing wrong with that.

Actually, that's a pretty nice AT job. And it's still nicer than one that's been painted...
