Sacramento one day show report.

After dawdling whether or not to go, I did.
Pretty big crowd early....most gone by 12:30
Looking to see if I had anything to dump, I did take a sack of AU-slider pre-21 Morgans.
But I left them in the car not knowing if "my guy" would do the show or not.
He did.
So I got to hobble back to the car on my bad knee.
I am now rid of even more silver. Surprising that those things haven't really dropped much.
Not many green beans. Surprisingly few. I'd bet in the entire room there were less than 100. Or I missed a case or two.
PLENTY of gray hair.
Few few young-uns.
The usual plethora of Morgans. I swear the entire mintage is now residing in dealer inventories.
One of my fave dealers has acquired a belly. Shockingly so as I saw him just a few months ago and I don't recall him being that way. I hope it's not a "condition" of something.
Pretty scarce offerings of hard-to-find stuff.
One old guy must be what you would call a dyed in the wool collector.
He must have spent an hour at "my guy"s table looking through miscellaneous world minors.
Lots of cases with the coins in 2x2s. I don't get it. I guess people still buy those, but they are overshadowed by the cases of slabs.
I may have missed it, but I didn't see any ...better.... foreign.
Left at 12:30 with at least a nice pile of loot and a check and a lot less silver to lug around.

Oh yeah. Also.
I think I saw ...TWO... 1921 Peace Dollars.
So the madness may be warranted.
I think if I were primarily a bullion dealer, I'd bring some boxes of folded 2x2s to put in the case for "legitimacy" and no reason to take out.
Thanks for the interesting show report.
Good for your knees @topstuf leaving those Morgans with them. Any pictures?
I like your report. You painted a pretty funny picture! I always enjoy reading the show reviews & ones Like yours are the reason why!
You mean pix of the ROOM?
Who do you think I am? Penny Lady?
All I had was a phone camera and the hot water I got into on a "pictures at shows" thread prompted me to throw it in the lake.
But there was no lake.
Oh the woes of the small local shows. Aiyee.....
Yeah.....I want to see the food, wine and the crowd
Well, if you insist.
Normally I make that show. Lately I’m been stuck here at the house doing some remodeling, patio and deck work.
Great report by the way and thanks for sharing.
Take it easy on that knee.
Uh-oh..... I used the wrong picture. Sorry.

Nice report.... were the '21 Peace dollars slabbed? That market seems solid... prices staying high. Cheers, RickO
One was. It was the no hair over ears variety.
That's funny. But I swear, I believe I have been to that show...
I’m the guy with the hat and the beard
Thanks for the report, and the photos. Strange show I guess.
