My latest pick up. A Two Cent piece from 1864 graded PCGS MS65+RB CAC

Below is a scan of the obverse and the reverse of my latest pickup. This Two Cent piece (Large Motto variety) is the 10th coin in my type set collection and the oldest thus far.

2 Cent pieces are good, everything else sucks!
The "WE" in your coin looks weak (sorry).

I'd like to see the rest of the coins in your type set, are they the same grade?

I like my copper to have some red on it. Does not have to be a lot, but just enough to give me a sense of what the coin may have looked like when it was first struck.

Looking at the coin in hand the "WE" is struck fairly well, but the last "A" in "AMERICA" is weak for sure. The weak "A" and the spot next to the "D" in "UNITED" were the only things that bothered me, but not enough to deter me from picking up what I thought was a very nice piece.

The rest of my coins range from 61 through 67+.

I like your front image of the coin, looks better than what the trueview shows. Mine has a little more brown than yours and I hope the PCGS holders keep these coins from browning much more.

This is a favorite piece of mine and it will be interesting when I show it to most of my non collector friends to see how many actually know that it is a real coin that was in use over 150 years ago.

I've always liked two cent pieces. I like the fact they an odd denomination and I like the shield on the obverse, probably because it's so distinct from what our coins are like now. @divecchia I think your coin is especially nice. And I agree with @raybo that it would be fun if you posted the rest of your type set.
