1892 Barber Dime - Interior Die Break

StrikeOutXXXStrikeOutXXX Posts: 3,352 ✭✭✭✭✭

Slow night at Coin Club last night, but found this 1892 Barber Dime I thought was neat. Probably cleaned long ago, but... has a rim to rim die crack, the "T" in LIBERTY has an Interior Die Break - and a few die cracks on the reverse.

Only 2 Interior Die Breaks listed at Cuds-On-Coins, and this isn't there. Just curious if anyone has seen this before.

I like it ! Later die state Barber Dimes are most interesting and 1892 is an excellent year for them.

Nice find and superb pictures.... The break at the T in Liberty is really interesting. Cheers, RickO

The cuds-on-coins guys got back to me, guess it’s too small to be an interior die break, just a die chip along the die crack. Still cool in my books.
