A.N.A. Newp - a low mintage Seated dollar

This was observed in the most unusual place at the show - obscurely placed in the center of a case full of world medals - no other coins present. I almost walked away from it, and then realized it must be an exceptional date, and the rest of the story is . . According to the seller, this was sourced from an Argentinian family, where this resided for several generations.

It appears it should be fine at CAC, too.
Sweet, congratulations !!!
Really nice!
Nice find... was it reasonably priced? Seems if it was in such a location, the value was likely understood. Cheers, RickO

In consideration of the fact that I was entertained with a purchase offer at 25% above my cost immediately after I took possession - yes.

Have you looked into the future and seen the PCGS grade ?
They may overgrade it.
One of the few coins still on my want list for an early San Francisco type set. The only San Francisco no motto silver dollar. Yours is beautifully original - great find!
