    Why is the meaning of opaque unclear?

    Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
    Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

    Because they were not struck until 1795, under the Julian-Fries Calendar in effect at the time!

    SiriusBlack-- As you probably already know: All M's are well-built... Shoot with your M-3 if you are most often using 50mm to 135mm lens. If shooting more often with 50mm and shorter lenses go to M-2, 1,4,5, etc. (For other folks: it has to do with image size in viewfinder, shooting with rangefinder Leicas is pure tobacco-chewing pleasure.)

    Any Government related stuff around here can be very touchy. But I will say repeal of term limits for elected officials.

    Nah... it's a combination of worn, rusty dies with some strike-throughs for good measure. Ultra rare. Should bring at least as much as that lousy 1913 Liberty Nickel. There's five of those things. Only one of yours.

    My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.
