"Coined" a phrase this morning.

topstuftopstuf Posts: 14,803 ✭✭✭✭✭

Well I ...think.... I did.
"Numismatunist."
This is a numismatist who may not STUDY everything about coins, but knows what they like and if an opporTUNITY to get something happens, they pounce on it.

Oh well. Back to the bonsai. B)

So would it be safe to write that a misnumismatunist is one who may study coins and just misses the opportunity?

Then I guess if it was a real hobby fanatic who just missed the opportunity, he would be a nutmisnumismatunist.

And a YN could be termed a 'numismastudent'.....and one who dislikes coins a 'numismathrope'...or a deviant who gratifies him/herself with coins, has a 'numismagasm'.
Wow... we are compiling a veritable numis dictionary. Cheers, RickO

It's not any more dishonest than missing the point.

  • coinkatcoinkat Posts: 23,661 ✭✭✭✭✭

Okay... My sincere apologies for missing the point here as well as the point there and the bull in between.
