A coin question so boring that it would receive no responses?

CoinstartledCoinstartled Posts: 10,135 ✭✭✭✭✭

Maybe "how much gold is in a Sacagawea dollar?" or "why don't the Hawaiian coins carry an "H" mintmark?"

I actually looked up the Hawaiian coins. Learned something today!

I had 150 ($150) as a price on a slabbed coin. A guy laid $1.50 on the table said he would take it. Then walked away in shock when I said “it’s $150.”

I firmly believe that on this forum, no matter what the question may be, there will always be responses. If someone posted a picture that was half black and half white, I am sure there would be a limited debate about the degree of difference and whether there may be some gray involved. ;) Cheers, RickO

Who says there isn't? Often there was a 75 cent, too.

My father's name was Richard but went by Dick. A neighbor was named Dick as well. As kids we would crack up when my Dad would say "Hi Dick how are you?" and the other Dick would say "Good and you, Dick?

The OP asked for coin questions. When are we going to see some?

Why didn't Philadelphia include a "P" mintmark on all of their coinage? It would, have made searching Ebay and Heritage way easier.

Why does a silver dollar have more silver in it than two silver half dollars or four silver quarters or ten silver dimes?

Who uses "16"? Is that a grade used by error collectors? ;)

I'm guessing there's no such thing as a question so boring that it wouldn't get an answer here. :D
