I'm not seeing a pic or a link.
FWIW there are THOUSANDS (if not tens of thousands) of types of Apollo 11 medallions out there, not to mention all the OTHER Apollo 11 items... plates, mugs, clocks... you name it. Most of it is low value stuff, worth well less than $100. In general, you're looking at melt value.
The only Apollo 11 medallions that are really worth any money are Robbins medallions. They flew in the spacecraft during the mission and are worth ~ $25,000 - $35,000. Go to the Heritage website, check under their "Historical" section for "Space Exploration" and then in their archive look for Apollo 11 Robbins medallions results.

A picture would be absolutely necessary for any feedback.

Nope, no mark on the backside. That's also why I'm thinking it's useless crap.

The above should have been made into a Captain Video coin.

Gift from one's Father is never useless crap. In fact little in life is more valuable. I have an old Hastings Triplett loupe from my dad that he carried every day. I do as well.
Interesting token.... does not look like a valuable piece, but it is from your Dad.... That would be a keeper for me. Cheers, RickO
For what it's worth. it is a little unusual compared to what I might normally expact to see. It is a contemporary souvenir from a truly huge achievement.
The "21/7 1969" is July 21, 1969 in the European date format so the medal might be European.
