Define "win." Do I think he will be the winning bidder or do I think he will end up with the coin by buying it off the winning bidder rather than engaging in a bidding war and jacking the price up?
Hummm.... Lets define this way, it must be in his collection (Listed on not) by this time next weekend.

Yo left out "Couldn't care less."
I looked for that choice also!
I for one will be glad "win" it's over so we can let Mr. Hansen slip back into his probably well desired anonymity. I'm glad we never obsessed so much over the "High Desert" collection.
I really do not care... Best of luck to Mr. Hansen, and for those who enjoy watching auctions - have a party.... Cheers, RickO
I care to the extent that his expenditures and collection garners national media attention which is good for our hobby!!! Coins are cool!!!
My vote was that he’ll land the half eagle, but not the nickel. Just a gut call, not much logic to it.
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
Will there be live stream of this online as it is happening?
The 54-S $5 will be a higher priority than the nickel, simply based on the frequency that either come up for sale.

Who is Hanson and why do I care?
Typical Heritage has live streaming. I am not sure about about Stacks Bower.

I voted no to be a contrarian.
I hope he acquires both. It’s good for our hobby and hopefully his story will go national.
@Barndog
I am dying laughing!!! Um bop is now stuck in my head.
OK. About 48 hours into the Poll and about 48 hours left before the auction begins, there are a couple takeaways. One, about 85% on the voters believe Hansen will win at least one of the coins. About 1 out of every 3 voters think he will win both. If you have not voted yet, please do so. If you do not want to vote, that’s fine, and you don’t have waste your time to tell me.
Thanks for 50 of you that participated.

Scary that BD picked that ref.
I dont think he will pass up the opportunity to own them both. He will add them to his collection.
I know of people who are low key and will go for the half eagle. I predict he will go broke buying those 1933 double eagles today.
Dunno know who he is or care a hoot
Less than 24 hours to the first auction. Anyone there can give us a report?

They must be investing their music royalties in the rare coin market.
