............people are obsessed with “likes” it transformed social media and the majority have followed suit, even these forums use the like symbol. Now give me some likes so I can feel good about myself
Well, you see, I in fact do not have much experience with social media (by choice), unless you can count this forum. But, I was under the impression that the little winky guy might tip people off to the fact that is was (mostly) a joke. If they still couldn't figure it out then maybe the part about the drive thru lane for Air Force One might have been another hint.
If anyone still can't figure it out then I will start a GoFundMe page for them so they can rasie money to buy a sense of humor. Big Mac tokens are such a deadly serious topic that I felt we needed a little levity or at least some dry wit. I was also sort of hoping some fringe crackpot with a blog would pick up the false rumor and run with it.
P.S. - I have heard that Facebook and others deliberately set out to suck people into their universe with likes and agrees and thumbs. To some degree that also happens here. But I guess that's life in the 21st century.
My apologies, I certainly didn’t mean to come off as a curmudgeon with no sense of humor. I did see the levity of your post put thought perhaps you did think the thumbs up sign was Donald Trumps.
I think I’m the funniest person I know but my wife would agree a gofundme for a sense of humor would be in order, I’ll PM you where to send the funds you raise.
@ricko said: @Paradisefound... That is a great picture of a Big Mac and the tokens... It even looks appetizing. Your photographic skills should be recognized by McDonalds and rewarded with an advertising contract....plus, a reward in the form of five solid gold MacCoins... Cheers, RickO
…..and free Big Macs for life!!!
.....and with a negative effect on your health of fat, salt, etc. content from a B.M. a shorter life it may well be. McD. may come out ahead on this deal.
