The coin you posted is a very nice coin. It looks like a Cleaned PROOF, First strike, or Specimen!
Thank you. If you are referring to the 62 I posted, you can forget the free bullets for shooting me.
I will have my own use for them now.
Where do you live?

RE: "It looks like a Cleaned PROOF, First strike, or Specimen!"
For future clarification, 1921 Peace dollars exist as: medal press satin and sandblasted proofs, and toggle press circulation strikes. There are no "specimen" pieces or other imaginary critters. (The possibility exists of several trial pieces made during the "day off" mentioned above, but we have no documentation or any way to distinguish them from other toggle press coins.)
For even FURTHER CLARIFICATION: Anything a major TPGS decides to call a "Specimen" is a specimen strike for all contents and purposes no matter if it actually is one or how it was made.
I'd still like to see another image of the Obverse of your Peace dollar as it is haunting me.
PCGS Certifies 1st known 1878-S Specimen Morgan Dollar. There MUST BE a 1921 Peace dollar "Specimen" out there somewhere. We have records of Business Strikes from the Proof dies, no?

Complete nonsense. No connection whatever between one false terminology use and another. Further, that dies used for medal press proof pieces (intended for internal use, not distribution to collectors) is known for several coin series. This is similar to pattern Trade dollar dies used for circulation strikes once the exact design was adopted.
AllCoinsRule - Nice coin and well above average detail. Weakness in obv rays and curve of bust, L of Liberty and I on IN, etc. difficult to tell much about the reverse.
1921 Peace dollars are a problem coin. Most dealers at any level of expertise have never seen a full or nearly-fully detailed 1921. They have nothing in their experience with which to compare, and are loath to open a modern book on the subject and study clear photos.
OK. That's kind of sarcastic .... and it's not aimed at Legend..... But from a research and author standpoint, it is incredibly frustrating to see high quality information ignored by those who are supposed to be the best in the commercial business.
Just be patient and look for the best you can obtain. Take note of the important details that are part of an exceptionally well struck coin and use those as your goals.
LOL, now close your eyes and think of a reply as you travel in a very exclusive group. Do you believe your partner could EVENTUALLY find/place one of these coins with an extremely strong strike (price not considered) that would even meet your standards? Ok, open your eyes.
PS I just received the Legend RCA brochure & Premier Sessions mailing. Very nice photo and your eyes were not rolling.
PS As you know, virtually everything has a price. For the right price she could possibly even pry one of the coins in this thread away from its owner.

Don't shoot. It's Roger's coin.

The 1921 Peace Dollar has been substituted for the Holy Grail by the Vatican.
Oh yes, this is true.
Wow...I think that is as much hair detail that I have ever seen on a 21!

HMMM...........Legend called it fully struck? All you have to do is view it yourself and make the call.
Other than that, I have nothing more to say.

This is making me nervous.

If you have deep pockets, contact a major dealer - many post here, and ask them to get you one with an exceptional strike.

TDN,
To whom was that directed?
The conversation in general when it turned to denigration. That Peace is as fully struck as any lustrous 1921 I’ve ever seen
