Joe passed the torch and the new president of the PSA portion of CU was introduced, Steve Sloane. The jumbo holder was highlighted as it will be able to encapsulate pieces up to 8.5X11. It didn’t seem to me that many were impressed by the registry going to a model in which you are given virtual trophies for milestones. It consists of 4 different entities, can’t remember all 4 but one even rewarded for interacting with other registry members. Rico Petrocelli spoke and gave some entertaining stories during his days with the Boston Red Sox. PSA will be opening an office in Japan , won’t be grading on site but more of a hub to send items to get graded.

PSA is also collaborating with an insurance company for registered items if I heard correctly. Not really what all it entails.
Also, received a cool hardcover new book just published and a Rico Petrocelli slabbed autographed 1972 topps baseball card! Very nice job from psa!
I read about this in the SMR - smart play by the insurance guy; seems as though he can offer better rates and more comprehensive coverage than most homeowners coverage companies can by having this niche. I'm curious to hear from anyone who signs up...
