    Those are the really rare ones.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

    Got these two consecutive $50 stars from out in the wild today. I think I’ll keep them until I may need in an emergency .

    Nice find on the $50’s Scott.
    Most modern circulated replacement notes have little value over face, but there are some exceptions. The 2017 Minneapolis $1 replacement note comes to mind and there are others as well. Like everything else, it’s all about supply and demand. The 1988A $1 Web is mentioned earlier on this thread but it’s only ranked fourth on Robert Azpiazu’s rarity guide. The 1988 $1 F* is ranked 1st, the 1981A $1 K* is 2nd and the 1985 $1 H* is 3rd.

    This is my 1988A Web star.
