Strange US Penny

Hi,

I am going through coins and found this strange looking penny which appears to have letters that are supposed to be on the back of the coin showing up on the front??? How? and Why? Should I keep it?

    Might be PMD. Someone used a die punch on the coin. IMO. Peace Roy

    Corroded and someone put another coin on top of it and gave it a good whack Give it a try. you'll need two coins and a hammer.
