Lunch time at the coin shop.

Stopped by my favorite coin shop at lunch time today and picked up $50 face and a $5 AGE. I’ve been trying to add more 90% to my stack lately.

    I paid 12x for the halves and 11.5 on the dimes. Wasn’t really looking for dimes but he didn’t have any Washington quarters left. I’ve been eyeing yours in the July BST thread.

    Dr.Buster, the halves are all average circ.

    Were you eating a hot dog with mustard while browsing/buying?? :D:D Nice haul of silver... and gold.... Years ago when I started stacking gold, I did the one ounce AGE's and Saints....back when gold was cheap....As I look back, I wish I had done some ten or five dollar coins too... just when I reflect on SHTF scenarios....     It would be so cool to have circulating silver coins again as real money. I daresay that some of the problems in our monetary system and economic system would have to be addressed in a serious way if that were still the case.

    But it would still be really cool. B)
