    it was't a even cut.

I collect hall of fame rookie cards, https://www.instagram.com/stwainfan/

    Besides the awful cut?

nothing to do with the cut, the card itself is a fake.

It looks brighter than others I’ve seen, but what’s the telltale it’s fake?

Is it the choppy print dots? When you zoom in the printing looks like a Magic Eye poster.

If you’re sure it’s fake should report it to PSA, they sent me an email about this when I spotted some other fakes.

Message the moderator, they want to know and crack down on this stuff.

the easiest way to tell on these bazooka fakes is the block dotted border, they are all 4 squared off and this is from a 3 card panel and this is the center card, they aren't squared off on authentic copies. If you had this in hand you would also see pixilation on the white borders as well, many little blue dots under magnification, I learned from experience getting burned, was shocked to see this in a holder.

Intresting….sold in a Probstein auction on 7/10 for $61 and the person that purchased it has it listed for $129 obo. Heck, might sell twice on Ebay!

So since its the middle card in the panel of 3, are you saying that the real card should have 4 corners like Figure A, and that if the 4 corners are like Figure B then its fake?

Not my card, but here's an authentic one for comparison:

Here is the panel for reference. Even with the cards at the end of the panel, the black dash borders have random designations.

Not all that inexpensive. PSA should step up and buy this off the market. As well as be wary of any Bazooka Mantles that come in for authentication...

FWIW, the fuzzy quality to the printing is the quicker pickup for me, particularly on the name. But good call as well on the black border pattern.

Good call - what should be a "solid" black line?

Is reduced to "print dots" - a photocopy.
