Mike... maybe it's just my monitor, but the color on your 1839 looks to be a nice even light brown /dark tan to me. Very nice... this is the color I shoot for in early copper.

That is a nice looking piece. Oddly enough it's one I was not able find with a look that pleased me when I was "dipping my toe" into the large cent by date market.
