We had a Red Sesame Shiba Inu. Her name was angel, she was more like a cat than a dog in her mannerisms. She passed three years ago. Still trying to convince my wife and daughter to bring another "little fox" into our home.
Enthusiastic collector of British pre-decimal and Canadian decimal circulation coins.
Bees made a home in the irrigation box on my property, and so I had a bee guy come out. He was nice enough to let me put on one of his beekeeper outfits so I could take photos.
I had a dealer friend who would put 2 $100 bills on each end of a wad of $1 bills. When it came time to pay the check, he made sure the waitress saw the wad as he fumbled to take out one of the $100 bills. It was a very good approach.
Reminds me of the famous poster "My first million". Look closely and you will see the edge of a one dollar bill where the 100 is folded back. I saw again on the World series of poker one night.
My new toy to mow the lawn. A birthday present to me from my loving wife and it’s never been so much fun to mow the lawn especially with that double bagger I installed on it.
😊
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
This is actually a painting of a human brain. It’s a well hidden slap in the face to the religious power of the time and represents the illicit scientific advancement being made.

Nice unit, you will enjoy it.
Have you thought about mulching blades so you don’t need to bag?

I’ve thought about it but this bagger is also like a vacuum cleaner. It picks up everything and this time of the year we have many leaves.

See that tiny little dot about 10 o'clock just inside the 2nd outermost ring? That's the Earth. Just about all the pictures in this thread, all the people who've posted here, indeed all of human history, has occurred on that one single pixel...

Here is a 26 gram slice of a Mars meteorite I just imaged. This is a unique rock from Mars and very different from the 200 or so meteorites we have from this planet. It has been battered so bad that it remelted and then resolidified (the dark areas), likely while it was still in the Mars crust and before another bolide came in and kicked it out of the Mars gravity well and into space before it landed on Earth.
Name: Northwest Africa 10961
This is an OFFICIAL meteorite name.
Abbreviation: NWA 10961
Observed fall: No
Year found: 2016
Country: (Northwest Africa)
Mass:help 2.22 kg
See planet Earth as a small dot in the photo of Saturn and its rings makes one realize that most of the things that the human race places much emphasis on are really very insignificant.
Like rare coins? Well, here’s a rare camera. The Contura Stereo Camera from 1955 was built by a failed company to satisfy investor demands. Only about 100 were made. I’ve been able to trace 24 survivors
Cartoonist Bob Thaves once said, "Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, except backwards and in high heels."
This quote is applicable to the Army's female Soldiers of today, who now make up 14 percent of the total force. These females are now closer to combat than ever, fulfilling essential roles both stateside and during deployment.
