Hail the gift of memory in this fifty-second state. Who sold me down the river and shafts me while he waits. Outside the gates of Eden, star spangled and so late.

There are a lot of us that would want one of these vehicles. My choice is the yellow one across the street on the right.

Well, it is Friday here in Japan

TODAY'S EDIBLE SAKURA WELCOME TO JAPAN

Some of the Cherry Blossoms on Japan’s Sakura Trees are actually harvested to be eaten.

In this video see how the chefs at Tokyo’s Villa Fontaine Haneda Airport Hotel have featured Sakura Cherry Blossoms as a topping on one of their Spring Buffet offerings - Roasted Red Sea Bream.

The video also highlights several other of their other signature buffet offerings to include Shabu Shabu honoring Spring.

It concludes with the Sakura display erected just for their Spring Buffet.

    From Today [Saturday] in Japan:

Yokohama Japan’s Giant Ferris Wheel was once the largest in the world after having been built for a special exhibition. It has been preserved by anchoring one of the smallest Theme Parks in the world, Yokohama's "Cosmo World." It remains the largest ferris wheel in the world with a clock.

In this video watch the Theme Park’s Roller Coaster, described as a "Diving Coaster" circle around the Ferris wheel and descend with a huge splash into the Park’s water lagoon.

The video also includes panoramic views of the ship-occupied harbor and distant Yokohama Bay Bridge,

(Views from the 13th floor of the Yokohama Bay Hotel)

Still the world’s largest clock Ferris Wheel, and once the world’s largest of any Ferris Wheel, Yokohama Japan’s Cosmos 21 is a sleeping Giant that awakens at dark to put on a spectacular light show,

    Enjoy the show!

TONIGHT'S "FREE FALLIN" FERRIS WHEEL AS TOM PETTY' SINGS "FREE FALLIN' AND A NIGHT-LIT BOAT GLIDES BY ON THE REFLECTING WATERS OF YOKOHAMA'S OOKA RIVER

Yokohama Japan’s night view is among the most impressive in the world. In this video one can see why as the waters of Ooka River reflect the night light show emanating from one of the largest Ferris Wheels in the world.

Then a lighted boat is seen ghostly passing by the Giant Ferris Wheel on the river’s still waters.

I’ve been on the wheel in London, but the one in Yokohama looks way scarier. Love the video.
