problem solved
My latest addition to the bar collection…
SilverTowne, third series 5 ounce…
Somewhat tough to find, a good friend down in Florida found it and sent me pictures and of course, I immediately snapped it up!
Got it in the mail on Saturday… Perfect example truthfully, the surfaces are original and the color is just right!
Beware these bars are very, very addictive!

While I’m here, I might as well show the other example from the same series, second series:
I got this bar about two years ago

We had a vacancy in our Yard Dog position after Teddy, our German shepherd mix, passed a couple weeks ago, of old age and cancer.
So Ladymarcovan made a new hire today. Her name is Daisy and she's a 10-week-old yellow Lab puppy.
We knew we needed to adopt a puppy to raise around the cats, rather than risk the introduction of a strange adult dog into our mixed menagerie.
So far the introduction to the cats has gone better than expected. Surprisingly mellow on both sides. Just cautious sniffing, not Armageddon.
Daisy is a sweetie, and calm for a puppy. The inevitable chewing has not yet begun, but she stole one of my shoes when I was getting ready for work.
PS- OK, so "Daisy" is not the most original dog name (I wasn't given a vote), but eh, it is springtime, so I reckon that works.

After more than a year of having no dog, my wife picked out this puppy.
Torben is his name. Here is Easter photo:
Aww. 🥰

Ladymarcovan took Easter pics of Grace, too.

Not that i am complaining, but since this thread has gone off the rails for the title, why not just remove "Friday" from it @asheland .

TODAY'S VIEWS
Airliner Takes Flight Over The Alaska Range with its Threatening Volcano Mt Spurr Below
Identifiable by its cone shaped crater summit and as the highest peak, Mount Spurr Volcano continues threatening another eruption.
In recent decades it has dumped ash on Alaska’s largest city of Anchorage located some 70 miles distant.
In this video share the scenic view of snow covered Alaska Range as an airliner ascends above.
