Air Force One Returns to Alaska with the President aboard on May 19, 2022, although this time for refueling in conjunction with his travel to the Quad Summit in Tokyo.
And here photos I took of Air Force One earlier the same year (2022) while we shared the tarmac at Sea-Tac as a bomb threat was delaying both our planes from taking off:
And to bring this full circle, here is a clipping from last week's visit by the President confirming that he was in fact aboard the 747 version of Air Force One rather than the decoy plane:
And a few selected photos as I captured the President air borne as he returned to Washington, D.C.
And the same backup/decoy plane that accompanied President Obama's visit in 2015:
