Filming in Boston this month
.
.
“The Collaboration,” a film about Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, began filming at Marina Studios on Sept. 14. This week, production is moving closer to the city, filming in locations like Chinatown and along the Esplanade
.
“The Collaboration” is based on a play by four-time Oscar nominee Anthony McCarten and tells the story of the two acclaimed artists. Paul Bettany plays Warhol and Jeremy Pope stars as Basquiat,
.
.
Emma Roberts, Dakota Johnson, and Sydney Sweeney will star in Sony's superhero movie "Madame Web," which begins filming in the Boston area
,
After getting a small taste of superhero movies last summer when Marvel crews spent a week filming “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in Massachusetts, Sony’s “Madame Web” became the first superhero film to base primary production in the Bay State. Crews kicked off filming in downtown Boston on July 11, transforming a section of the Financial District into early-2000s New York City.
.
Two taxi cabs being used for filming the upcoming Sony-Marvel movie “Madame Web,” which is filming in the Boston area through September.
.
Crews have also been hard at work in Andover, building a set resembling the 4-Star Diner, a restaurant that has appeared frequently in the “Spider-Man” comics.
Crews are also expected to visit Weymouth and film at the Hangout, a 33,000-square-foot former fighter-jet hangar that formerly housed South Weymouth Naval Air Station

Looks like a Nash? I'm guessing it was Nash's minicar the Metropolitan.
Growing up a car dealer neighbor who lived across the street had one parked in his driveway. That and BMW's Isetta were the Smart Cars of that generation unless you also include the kit made King Midget.
Speaking of "mini" cars ---
Here is a large "mini" car that I once owned - Honda's first auto to be imported into the U.S. The Honda 600 was equipped with an adapted motorcycle engine.
Here are photos of the referenced BMW Isetta:
And here is a "mini" firetruck I came across several weeks ago:
A Nash Metropolitan can be seen in this recently taken photo:
Here is another "mini" car that I once owned - here pictured the vehicle under restoration:
And here pictured was my King Midget before restoration:
Additional examples of the King Midget as pictured at a King Midget Jamboree I attended in Ohio, the state where they were manufactured from 1946 to 1970:
(FWIW, I still own the website KingMidget.com, although presently awaiting content.)
As contrasted to the mini-sized Nash Metropolitan here was the largest Nash manufactured - The Nash Ambassador. Due to its largess and amenities it was nicknamed the "Kenosha Duesenberg." Another interesting factoid, Nash was the first American auto company to offer seat belts back in 1949.
(Pictured, the family's Nash Ambassador circa early 1950s.)
Last Sunday. My mother holding my baby son. I shot this on a camera I recently picked up on eBay, a 1958 Minolta Autocord, a twin lens reflex medium format camera. Black and white film (Kodak TriX). Scanned at a local lab.
A spider that I spotted in my rose bush this morning. I was able to stack a few shots to get some more detail than I would’ve otherwise. Anyone know what kind of spider it is?

How would that get over a speedbump or did someone steal the rear wheel?

When i first saw this, I thought it had sat on the hot tar mac so long it just melt to a rest. Probably it is designed like a low rider car, it is raised by hydraulics or pneumatics when operational.
