By accident I met Paul the pilot while helping him avoid getting tangled up in some Eucalyptus trees when the wind suddenly picked up. We became friends and crewmates, occasionally as payment he would let me jump from the balloon. This was my first jump, very nervous as you don't know where you will land, power lines, no wind sock, etc. Oh yeah my rig was in the shop so this one was borrowed from my buddy Kirk who I just had taught how to pack...Paul had a really wild ride when I got out, spiraling up rapidly!

Thanks. With Saturday's cloudy skies much of those aerial efforts seen in my Friday photos to create visible contrails did not carry over for the actual air show. Maybe tomorrow's weather will be more cooperative.
The most impressive sky writing effort was a huge heart created in the sky as they seemed to be practicing that extensively on Friday.
