OK, it is not yet Friday, but here are views from yesterday showing the frosted trees captured after the early morning ice fog lifted with the temperatures hovering in the single digits:
This historical structure withstood the terrifying earthquake and the ensuing hell of fire, and within its walls, so survived also hundreds of thousands and perhaps millions of dollars worth of gold and silver coins. Of the surviving coinage was a small cache of older $20 gold coins stored within the Mint’s vaults. Amazingly, some of those surviving coins were Type-I $20 Gold Double Eagles that were minted in San Francisco, and which existed for the same reasons a mint was built in San Francisco in the first place: the California Gold Rush.
Leica III with 90mm Elmar and VIDOM Finder. The camera was made in 1934. Not rare, a great user, a setup like this about 700$ on today’s market I’ve found collecting Cameras is akin to coins, but you can Use the Cameras :-)

Interesting story,
I was on a flight from FLA to Boston with Johnny Pesky a few years ago.
While the plane was in flight I walked up the aisle to him and asked if I could get his autograph for my five year old son.
He said no.......................I was taken aback when his nephew [who helped him with his wheel chair] pulled me aside and said "he doesn't believe it's for your son, send the kid up".
I returned with my son and got the autograph.
Great memories.

Interesting story,
