Place hasn't flooded us yet, but the old timey locals tell of scary high water back in the spring of '98 that swept away people's deck chairs and stuff and made a big dam mess downstream ..

If it ever floods you could make sure your car works like this...
So I moved the shop out of the city a few months ago and into a smaller town .
Now this one guy drives 30 miles to get his stuff at my shop saying it's because I am friendlier and nicer than all the dealers in town. That felt good.
He is a Steelers' fan.
My wife opened a shop next to me.
She does acrylics and stained glass when she's not working in her real trade.
He asked her if she could make a stained glass logo. She said "no". I said ""sure she could".
Not certain she likes that I challenged her, when she said "you draw me the pattern then". I said "okay".

I'll turn 65 in three weeks and had never seen a red rainbow before the downpour last Thursday night.
I like that red rainbow.
What makes a red rainbow?
You might see one, if you’re outside at sunrise or sunset at a time when there’s rain in the air. Red rainbows have a surreal beauty, but their explanation is fairly ordinary. They’re created via the same physics that makes a sunset or sunrise looks red.
Red rainbows are created when there is a low sun so that the blue and green of its rays are weakened by scattering during the long journey through the atmosphere. In that way, red rainbows are akin to red sunrises and sunsets.
Yes,
The Robin Williams Auction: On the Wall and Off the Wall
A photograph of Robin Williams with Auguste Rodin’s famous sculpture at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco will be among the items auctioned on Oct. 4 by Sotheby’s.
Big fan of the Rodin (hey, that rhymes 😉)
A girlfriend gave me this in 1997 for my 30th bday

That photo evokes the smell of freshly cut wood and pine scents. Nice place to be on a day like today.
I think Baley's place is in Oregon somewhere.

Now this guy is a doubly happy fan.
