What grade would you assign to this common Morgan?

I know you can't grade by images but I do try to generate the best image possible, with only a dash on contrast, that's it.
It's raw and very white, there is one major hairline on the cheek and a decent hit on the jaw line. The reverse is that of a 7 imo.

Is the faint circle in the lower hair on the holder or the coin? Cheers, RickO
It was shot raw so it's on the coin, not sure what you are referring to.
Now I see it, will have to check out the coin.
Just looked at the coin under 10x glass nothing there, have no idea what it is.
I voted MS-65 but if you get dinged for diagonal hairlines on the neck - Min: 64+. Are you sending it in?
I would give it a 65
I voted 64 because you mentioned hairlines.

Looks 65 otherwise

I just saw it, it's a hair that fell on the coin while imaging.
I voted 65, knowing how tough they've been lately. I think a year ago it might have been able to get a 66.
@jtlee321 .... Thanks... could not figure out what that was... Cheers, RickO
MS66
Successful Trades: Swampboy,
Voted 64 due to hairline? on cheek
Put/Get that thing in a 66 Holder/Tomb and just be done with it…(in the best way)
I see a 66
I could see a 66.
the chatter in the left field might hold it to a 64 but the cheek screams ms 65.
66
My grade is 64 but wouldn't be surprised at a market graded 65.

I voted 66. I would love to have some 65's that look like that. Can't find them.
Some perspective:
66
Is it true that these Morgans (like the '81-S) are often exceptional and held to a higher standard? Not my bailiwick. But I love my '80-S MS65 I bought for $86 a while back.
I guessed 65 but I think that may be too conservative.
Lance.
P.S. The white balance "tint" (not temperature) should be moved away from green.
The cheek is awfully clean. I would call it MS65+ shot MS66 depending on how prominent the obverse field chatter is in hand.
A nice coin and a strong 66. I think that the hits on the eyebrow, eyelid and nose keep it from being 67. (marks in the field in front of the nose are difficult to evaluate) I agree the reverse is likely 67.
I voted 65, shot at 66 !!!
I voted 64

Agree,..
Probably a 66. Send it in!

Criteria should be identical - no exceptions.
Does this help a little?
Nice 65, congrats
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.
That’s a nice looking coin!
Easy 65. I'm having a hard time saying 66 because of the left obverse fields and the 5 o'clock shadow on the jaw.

It's raw. Thanks for all the input, probably at the end of the day it's gonna come back a 5. To many of these that survived in high grades, heck there are 68's available all the time. How did 79, 80, 81, and 82 S Morgans survive in such pristine condition? I guess it can be answered by the sheer numbers that were never put into circulation.
I voted 66. That's a really nice example.

Right. They were never put into circulation, and
two, the bags remained in one place for most of their lifetime thus avoiding coins sliding and scraping across one another.
65 was my thinking, at first glance. They're sure beautiful.
