I don't mean to be a burden however when I looked this volume 2 up there was more than 1 volume 2 listed . I truly value everyone's opinion which one would be a better book. If both I will get both. Thank you again for the responses I will recieve.

Go to Wizard Coin Supply's website. They list the 5th edition of Vol. 2. I would get both, if you are interested in learning about commonly encountered varieties. You might also want to get a copy of James Wiles' book, enttled "The Modern Minting Process and U. S. Minting Errors and Varieties". This is the text for the ANA course on this topic.
RMR: 'Wer, wenn ich schriee, hörte mich denn aus der Engel Ordnungen?'
CJ: 'No one!' [Ain't no angels in the coin biz]
Thx for asking as I would be interested in the answer also!
Check the 'edition' and the 'volume'....I believe the 6th edition is the most recent.. I have the sixth edition Volume one.. and fifth edition volume two.... Volume one is half cents to Jefferson nickels... Volume two is half dimes to silver and modern dollars.. plus gold coins and commemoratives and bullion. It is great reference material and for those interested in errors or die varieties it is a 'must have'....Cheers, RickO
I just bought a used CPG vol 1 from Jim Wiles with his notations in it. Love it. Gotta get vol 2. Peace Roy
