Can someone please confirm that this coin is a 50 Sen coin
And hopefully you also can tell me the year??

    Yes 50 sen, Taisho year 15 (1926)

    I love that coin. Last silver 50 sen and chock full of symbolism--very apropos for the era. The ho-oo bird (double this time male/female), the Imperial Chrysanthemum crest, the government seal/emblem Paulownia leaf, the Sunburst, the Sacred Mirror and a couple of cherry blossoms to top it off.
