Can we get a mega-thread for all the 'Is this a DDO?' type threads?

It would really clean up the front page of the forum if we could get a simple mega thread where everyone who has questions about if this coin is a DDO asks it there. In the past few months there has been an influx of new users that ask this same question about different coins over and over and over again. Right now on the front page, there are at least 5 threads asking if coins pictured are DDOs. A basic wiki and a mega-thread where people ask this question might go a long way to combat the clutter.

Unless of course I am the only person that cares.

That would be real NICE. Most would be from the same member. ;)

Maybe we could just get them [him?] a separate site. Maybe a Coinstar...that's where all my pocket change goes.

There are many of us who care around here......
To encourage the independent learning; I've broadcasted 'FREE Cherry Pickers Guide' posting awhile ago....none of the intended audience showed up but I did handed one out for a true learner :)

Ignore them and maybe they will give up and go away. As long as they get looks and responses they will never leave.

Or just ban shitty hate magnet trolls. I'm not one for banning people from parts of the Internet, but have no patience for hate magnets.

I'd expect this kind of BS on some other forums but not here. He's succeeded at making this a shitty spammy place to visit.

If there was a larger moderator presence it wouldn't have taken this long. I've been moderating three forums for 25 years and two for 20, and people like these are banned six ways to Sunday a lot quicker by staff.

How did you get that thing in your living room @Jimnight ? :#

Yes I for one think that’s a great idea. It might help a certain collector here :)

Is there really an ignore button?

Yes. Click on the person's name and it is in the upper right.

I tried it on pdlp, by the way. The problem is it blocks all his comments, but I could still see all the threads he started. It didn't clean up my feed any.

Yep ignore button still leaves all the threads there, which is what I was griping about.

In light of the new posts, I'm bumping this, sorry.

At what point with all these posts do the moderators step in with all these extremely basic almost troll-like posts? Moderation here seems extremely extremely lax. I will volunteer to be a moderator and to moderate these posts.
