USPS Tracking

Check out the tracking history to see the wild ride this one took
It was a registered "Package Intercept" due to a fraudulent credit card charge. Took a while, but at least it made it safely home to daddy.
Note to anyone initiating a Package Intercept: closely monitor tracking and immediately call USPS customer service each time it turns in the wrong direction. Yes, you have to wait a long time on the phone.

Boy, I would say that you were 'lucky' that you were able to pull that one off. I'm not saying you didn't work hard, but you were lucky.....
Did you get frequent flyer miles?
Was it going back to the scammer a second time at some point there?
That's what it seems like, assuming he is in GA or on that path.

I just sent a package VIA USPS registered mail on Monday with an expected delivery date of Thursday by 8pm. I thought that was pretty fast for a registered package, especially for a holiday week. Well that's come and gone. The new delivery date is today by 8pm but the package is in a regional facility ~500 miles from the delivery address. Usually when I send 2 day express mail, the tracking seems to go fast and as expected. However, registered mail really slows things down. (I knew that before I sent the package) I'll be happy if it gets there by mid next week. Not sure why they put a delivery date on a registered package they know they can't/won't meet.
I have seen a couple of these 'wild rides' through the USPS....One, a package my wife ordered, crossed the U.S. twice... we still laugh about that one... Cheers, RickO
Scary glad u got it back.
Expected delivery dates for registered mail is meaningless.
Here is my latest one out on a US tour

I mailed a package to Northern Florida from Southern Florida and somehow it wound up in Puerto Rico for a few days. It finally got to it's destination, about a week later.
gotta laugh. I have one out for Dely today that bounced in and out of Harrisburg 5 times last night and this AM. It's a record for Hburg at least for my stuff. Good luck.
I think that's partly due to the intercept thing since it tends to interfere with the original tracking. Why not just call the PO where it last was and let them sort it out? They should know where the next stop will be.
