Could you find a "coin a day" every day that you would like enough to keep admiring over and over again (but not just because it was free)?

The CONDITION is....that it MUST be listed on a site (either eBay or private) for .... under $300
Well, could ya?

With the endless supply of newly discovered Doubled Dies and various varieties and errors being discovered all the time :o it would be very easy. ;)

Load up on $299 coins, sell them, put the cash in a high yield mutual fund and admire the free cash every day..

Edited: Never mind; I see you said no sales were allowed. :/

    I don't know.....

After a month or two of this, I'm thinking I would have filled any "holes" I have, acquired any upgrades I desire, and socked away any random things that just caught my attention. At that point, it might become a chore to have to "pick something" every day!

I'd have to start a new series just to suck up all of these FREE coins!

Come to think of it....sign me up. ;)

No problem! It would be more fun if the limit was raised to $500. :)

I think there is a saturation point where it would then become passe, for me a coin a day would be it for sure unless I was selling as quickly as I was getting them.

I would have trouble finding that many coins that I like.

A coin a day for 10 years would be 3652 coins. That's nothing. I'm sure it would get boring after 30 or 40 years, though. At some point I'm sure it would reach a point in which any appealing coin becomes the free daily coin.

    For how long?

If it were a surprise every day, it would probably keep my interest longer.
