Speaking of Spanish Colonial Medals

A few years ago, I came across a Gil medal commemorating the birth of Ferdinand VII and featuring three generations of Bourbons. It had been "rescued" from a silver melt pile and the condition was as expected. Heritage recently featured the same medal in bronze, so I just had to have it, for a suite presentation. So, side by side:

    Carlos III was the last competent ruler. He was probably looking on the others thinking FML. The baby was the worst of all.
